Cinder And now for something completely Different! CRAFTS!  What is that you say?  Crafts on Carol's Crafty Corner? MADNESS! I know.  But I've been knitting up a storm to keep myself sane and my children alive (kidding, mostly) Here are some of my most recent items. My Kyna Shawl Zombie Vixen Fingerless gloves Hell or Highwater Cowl Star Crossed Slouchy Beret Dionne Slouchy Hat Cap'n Crunch I'm super proud of myself.  I've made a couple pairs of socks too.  One for a friend and one for me.  The Cap'n Crunch went to a friend out in BC so I don't actually have a picture of the Finished project.  I'll survive.  It looks awesome on her. I'm making myself another pair of fingerless gloves because the oldest has stolen the zombies.  I knew it would happen.  She kept coming in and taking them from me.  I'm enjoying the process of zoning out and doing nothing with my brain.  I need that dea...

HEY!!!!

I hung with some friends from SCS the other day up at Bellaland. OMG it was so much fun! I got to hang with some of the ROCKSTARS in the Stamping world. JanTink...HELLO??? THE JAN TINK!!!!!! OMG! And you know what? She was awesome and sweet and so down to earth! I poked her arm so maybe some of the talent will travel up my finger into the rest of me. Linda, Laura, Mary, Paula, Pauline and of course Emily and Nicky.....wayyyyyyyyyyy fun! Wanna see some shots? I didn't get many cause like I said I was having too much fun......lol! I was so inspired that I came home and started colouring some images and it came out NOTHING like theirs.......soooooooooooooooooooooo I have some more practicing to do...LOL!!! Don't forget I start STARBUCKS on MONDAY!!! Can you tell I'm a little excited? No? Well just wait till after my first day and I've been sucking back all those wonderful espresso drinks all day long.....lol!! Till then!

And it goes on and on and on....

We go between days of, "I love you all so much" to "I don't want to see or hear from you all for a few months" Whatever. I need to figure out where I am at. I know where I should be, but I don't think I'm there yet. Work issues are coming to a giant ugly white puss filled head. I've been torn down, torn sideways, and generally beaten down until I no longer give a shit about my store. I love who I work with excluding one, but I'm running as fast as my fractured hip will allow. Today I'm excited because I have adult plans, like with adult friends. I'm dropping my kids off at Nana's house so I can meet up with my knitters and shop and eat and drink. One day to me. I've already done six loads of laundry so it's not like I'm slacking at all....sigh.......
