Sleepy Sunday.......

No kids and all I do is sleep.......guess I'm really tired huh?

I did manage to get out and get some groceries for the house and a ton of stuff to take down to Florida, snacky stuff for the ride and canned goods for the hotel. Yes we have a microwave...LOL!

Hub and I went to see Zodiac last night. Great flick and very enjoyable to have a night out with my man and no monkies messing around. Even nicer to come home to absolute silence and know that it's gonna stay that way for half a day more at least. PHEW!!! Thanks again mom.

Count down is 10 days now....can't fricken WAIT!

HEY!!!!

I hung with some friends from SCS the other day up at Bellaland. OMG it was so much fun! I got to hang with some of the ROCKSTARS in the Stamping world. JanTink...HELLO??? THE JAN TINK!!!!!! OMG! And you know what? She was awesome and sweet and so down to earth! I poked her arm so maybe some of the talent will travel up my finger into the rest of me. Linda, Laura, Mary, Paula, Pauline and of course Emily and Nicky.....wayyyyyyyyyyy fun! Wanna see some shots? I didn't get many cause like I said I was having too much fun......lol! I was so inspired that I came home and started colouring some images and it came out NOTHING like theirs.......soooooooooooooooooooooo I have some more practicing to do...LOL!!! Don't forget I start STARBUCKS on MONDAY!!! Can you tell I'm a little excited? No? Well just wait till after my first day and I've been sucking back all those wonderful espresso drinks all day long.....lol!! Till then!

Funny...Not

It's strange how the human mind works.  You go about life being brave and strong on the outside.  On the inside you're paddling madly to stay on top of the water. Nobody sees that.  Nobody wants to see. This past little while, I've been struggling to deal with my own self and with himself as well.  On a bad day, I can shove my clouds back and find the ray of light to bask in, to find the warmth.  On a good day, I bank that light for when I need it most.  For those darkest of dark days when I can't find the ray. When you have your own mental illness to deal with, dealing with someone else who is unmedicated or unbalanced is stressful at the least, dangerous at the most. Not only is it taxing on my system, it pushes me closer and closer to mental and physical exhaustion.
